1. What types of health services are available?

Dr. Harter provides comprehensive primary care for adult men and women, ages 16-100+. Our physicians are also board certified in Internal Medicine and have over 30 years of combined experience in treating such illnesses as diabetes, heart and lung disease, allergies, and more. Additionally, Dr. Harter is a Certified Headache Specialist providing a holistic approach to headache treatment.

2. What are your hours of operation?

Appointments are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m..

3. How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment please contact us (623) 748-8300 and one of our receptionists will schedule an appointment for you. We currently do not offer weekend appointments.

4. Do you have same day/walk-in appointments?

We try to accommodate same day or walk-in appointments depending on available. If there is an urgent need to see us the same day, please try to call our office at the start of office hours at 9 a.m. and we will assist you in setting up a same day appointment.

5. Do you have a cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment time. There is a $50 charge for missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. We make every effort to accommodate you for a same-day appointment if your problem is urgent. You will be seen by the doctor, but there may be extra waiting time.

6. What should I bring to my appointment?

At each appointment please bring your insurance card(s) for insurance verification. Additionally we provide the required patients forms on this website that you can print from your home computer and bring to your first appointment. A list of the patients forms is available here.

7. What should I do if the office is closed and I need to speak with the doctor?

In the event of an emergency call 911 for assistance. If the call is pertaining to non urgent matters such as refill requests or rescheduling of an appointment, please contact us during reqular office hours.

8. How can I get a prescription refill?

Prescription refills can be requested by contacting your pharmacy. We recommend requesting your refill when you have 5 days remaining on your current prescription. Our physician provides prescriptions with a specific number of refills. We recommend that the day you receive your last refill from your pharmacy you contact our office to schedule your next appointment so the physician can evaluate how you are responding to the medication and make adjustments as needed.

9. What insurance plans are you contracted with?

We are contracted with most major insurance companies as well as Medicare and Medicaid plans. If you have questions about if your specific plan is accepted please contact us at (623) 748-8300.
